Just disable Uplay Ingame Overlay. Disabling that should fix the problem. This is a Ubisoft problem, not a Steam problem. Disabling Uplay UI - fixes this problem. Far Cry 4, keeps Crashing. Just bought this game off of steam last night finish downloading and installed this not too long ago. Game keeps crashing with freezes. Was able to watch intro cut scene and move around for a little bit. After going through the hall way where you see the guy being electricuted game freezes and crashs.. As the title says, my Far Cry 4 keeps crashing on launch. I've tried playing Far Cry 3 to make sure it wasn't universal, and Far Cry 3 works without a single problem. My Far Cry 4 goes into the little Far Cry 4 logo before it says "Far Cry 4 has stopped working", I've tried everything including reinstalling Uplay, launching Uplay and Steam in.
