Imām Abū Ḥanīfah (150 A.H/767 A.D) is a well known Mujtahid 1 born in the year 80 A.H. (689 A.D.). He is known as «The Greatest Imām» (al-Imam al-A'ẓam) and is the first of the four Mujtahid Imāms and the only successor (tābi'ī) amongst them.
